Hosted monthly community gatherings, informational sessions, and public forums attended regularly by residents and community leaders of both parties, including a televised mayoral forum, a police-community discussion, and several information sessions around housing and food and budget.
Co-produced Milford's Juneteenth celebrations.
Led efforts for transparency and public involvement in spending American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds.
Championed and helped author new accessory dwelling unit (ADU) regulations.
Partnered with Milford Education Advocates to restore $1.7M to budget, drove attendance at public hearings.
Successfully campaigned to establish the city's Fair Rent Commission and staff it with diverse representation.
Now driving efforts to re-establish the town Housing Partnership Committee.
Won representation on Board of Alders, Planning & Zoning, Board of Education, and Fair Rent Commission.
